Matthew Broderick turned down SATC role

Matthew Broderick has revealed that he turned down the opportunity to star beside wife Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex and the City.
Now that is one cameo we'd love to have seen!
Broderick, who has been married to SJP for 13 years, told US Weekly how he had received offers for roles on the fashionable show, but decided not to take them up.
He explained: 'I had a couple of chances when the TV show was on. But I was never free for the right character.'
The A-list pair have never appeared on screen together, and aren't seeking to.
Broderick added, 'We did a play together, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, but it's not really something we look for.'
Oh well Matthew, there's always Sex and the City 3!
