Sharon Stone: ‘Meryl Streep looks like an unmade bed’

Miaow! Sharon Stone has taken a swipe at Meryl Streep's appearance - saying that she looks like ‘an unmade bed.'

The comments were made in a recent interview - which despite starting perfectly pleasantly, soon took a decidedly catty turn - with the inclusion of a few thinly-veiled insults...

‘I think that's why Meryl Streep is working so much, because she looks like a woman we can all relate to,' Sharon says candidly.

‘"I look at her and I think, ‘I'm chasing my kids, I've moved my parents in with me, I'm coping with food spills - that looks like me in real life,' she continues.

‘Meryl looks like an unmade bed, and that's what I look like. To me, that looks true."

Yikes! We can't help but think that this may be a case of the green-eyed monster rearing it's ugly head...

Well coming from a woman who is only remembered for crossing her legs on screen without any knickers on I'm sure Meryl won't lose any sleep over this! Meryl is supremely talented and actually looks pretty good to say she's one of the few not to go under the surgeons knife!! Sharon on the other hand is one of the indentikit 50+ not much talent lifesize barbies!!!

I think Meryl has it all over Sharon Stone. She is (Meryl that is), is gorgeous and doesn't have a plastic face like Sharon Stone. I just went to see Meryl in "It's complicated" and she was wonderful! Can't shine a stone (no pun intended) to Meryl.

Well...having just seen Its Complicated...I can truly say that Sharon would be Stone dead in a comedy such as this..I suspect the bitchy comments are because Meryl does so well and is older than her and she doesnt actualy have anything to her credit...I dont want to be spiteful about her but why make comments like that in the first place to the press..'Unmade bed...Unmade talent I suspect...the 'lady ' doeth protest too much..what a shame..someone of her age should know far better..bitchy comments do not a lady make!!
