The rumour mill went into overdrive at reports Twilight heartthrob Taylor Lautner and country singer Taylor Swift were an item. But already it seems they may have split.

The Hollywood youngsters, who have been filming a new flick together, were spotted out and about on a number of dates before Christmas.

But entertainment insiders suggest the famous pair have now split.

‘Apart from their name, they don't have much in common,' said one source. Oh dear!

And the plot thickens. It seems that some think that there may have been a third person involved in their breakup - Taylor Lautner's ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Reports that the pair have rekindled their relationship are rife amongst Hollywood insiders, and apparently ‘the sparks have been flying'.

The sources were right. They just didn't fit with each other, but getting back with Selena is even worse! Originally, she used Taylor just because she liked Robert Pattison, and I thought Taylor had realised that! Ok, they look kind of sweet together, but she is just a plain user and will only let him down again. He should really let go of his 'old flames' and look for someone new.

I personally don't care who Taylor Lautner dates, because I don't know him to judge him, or even taylor swift and selena gomez for that matter, but it i s pretty obvious that any girl would be up for dating him. He's like my celebrity crush. :)

I loved the idea that taylor and taylor were a couple but it was never confirmed and even if they did split it was supposed to be on good term. Swift gave lautner a standing ovation at peoples choice and we all know she wouldn't keep quiet if he wronged her and too right.
If selena gomez thinks she has a chance with taylor now shes seriously wrong. She ditched him before and now because hes huge she wants him back??
He's sooo much smarter than that

Well to start off, Taylor Swift was just a little bit to old fot Taylor. So maybe it worked out that they broke up, but getting back with Selena is not such a good idea. Not to be mean or anything, I am only 16 but Taylor is way to good looking for Selena. He just take some time to find someone that truly does like him, and not just use jim to get to someone else like Selena did. If she did it once, she'll do it again, and taylor is way to sweet to go through that.
