Newly engaged Russell Brand and Katy Perry plan to marry in months

Comedian Russell Brand confirmed his engagement to Katy Perry just yesterday, but already the excited pair have started planning their nuptials.
Although the kooky couple are off celebrating their recent announcement in Thailand, reports suggest Russell has already asked his manager to be best man, and the ceremony could be in just six months time!

The couple, who have been dating for just four months seemed as loved up as ever as they took a trip to India over Christmas.
But it seems Russell had ulterior motives for their romantic getaway - his Christmas present to Katy - and had been planning his spectacular proposal down to the very last detail.
The British comic was spotted browsing the rings in Cartier before Christmas, so we suspected an engagement might be on the cards.
But it seems Russ really pulled out all the stops on the big night.
On New Year's Eve, Russell took the future Mrs Brand shopping, splashing out on a traditional Indian dress for her to wear during the special evening.
The secretive comic had then arranged a special dinner in the gardens of the exclusive Taj Rambagh Palace hotel in Jaipur.
‘We set a table in a garden with candles everywhere. They arrived in a horse and carriage with a glass of champagne and we served them dinner.' Said a member of hotel staff
‘At midnight they enjoyed fireworks while sitting on an elephant, which Mr Brand specially requested. Then they were taken to the Mughal Garden - which was decorated by flowers and candlelight,' the source continued.
‘Mr Brand had given his butler the diamond ring to hide among the flowers. Miss Perry found it, he proposed, and she immediately said 'Yes'.
