Rihanna’s new man and their holiday hookup in Dubai

It's a new year and a new man for superstar Rihanna, who has hooked up with LA Dodgers star Matt Kemp.

The new couple displayed their affection for each other as they cosied up by the pool at an ultra-exclusive resort in Dubai.

Rihanna had been performing at the Emirates Palace on New Year's Eve, but chose to extend her trip to a holiday with her brand new beau.

And it sounds like the relationship is really hotting up.

‘Rihanna and Matt are starting to get serious - he even followed her to Dubai for New Years,' said a source close to the star.

‘Rihanna likes him because he's such a gentleman...and super sexy!'

Rihanna and Matt are just some of the many celebs jetting off on holiday this January.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been holed up in Paris with new beau Olivier Martinez and Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom have been soaking up some sun in St Barths.

And just yesterday Twilight heartthrobs Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were spotted holidaying on the Isle of Wight.
