Is Robert Pattinson dating X Factor's Lucie Jones?!

You can image our surprise when we found out that X Factor's Lucie Jones has been asked on a date by none other than Twilight's Robert Pattinson.
This news comes just as we were almost certain he was dating vampy co-star Kristen Stewart.

As far as we (and we think everyone else) were concerned, Robert and Kristen had secretly been an item for a while.
But recently X Factor's Lucie has revealed she is now the subject of Mr Pattinson's affection.
‘His sister got in touch and asked if I wanted to come to dinner after the Twilight Saga: New Moon premiere a couple of weeks ago,' she revealed in an interview with Now.
But Lucie says at first she turned Robert down.
‘Unfortunately I had to switch on the Christmas lights in Warrington on the same day! I couldn't believe I'd missed such an opportunity. I was gutted.'
Despite this, the teenage starlet remains confident they'll rearrange their plans soon.
‘We're still in touch and we're going to go to dinner or something next week. I can't believe it - he's my dream man, I really, really fancy him. Kristen Stewart had better watch out!' she said.
Well, we're not sure what to think!

Considering how private Rob likes to be about his personal life, to me she's just blown it. If I were approached by the sister of Rob to go out on a dinner date, I would keep it quiet and not announce it to the world. Hmm me thinks it may be jumping on the publicity bandwagon. But if it is true - 0 out of 10 for keeping things private Lucie - if I was Rob I wouldnt touch you with a barge pole now - you couldnt be trusted to keep anything private!

Totally agree with Brownwen. All u people slaggin Lucie off are just stupid! You don't no her! I thought she seemed quite nice on X Factor and she don't deserve randomms like yourself slaggin her off for no reason! She's only 18! If u think she shoulda kept quiet (assuming it's true and she actually said this) then if she's blown her chances with rob that's her problem! Sussanah Spencer, YOURE NOT ROB THOUGH and Eric Kristen has a boyfriend so she's not really there for Rob to pass uP on....
I think RobertPattinson is AMAZING and would love to meet him and is jealous of anyone who gets that chance but I don't slag them off for it! In this case it's not like it's lucies fault he contacted her, the only mistake I think she made was not cancelling all plans and grabbing the offer personally...
