Dannii Minogue confirms plans to release comeback single

First it was Cheryl Cole, and now Dannii Minogue has been plotting her comeback single.

The X Factor judge confirmed yesterday that she is planning to relaunch her pop career in 2010.

Rumours have been rife that Dannii's latest effort will be a collaboration with famous dance duo the Freemasons.

And it seems that this has finally been confirmed.

In a recent interview, Freemasons star James Wiltshire said: ‘What I like about Dannii is that she's so into her music. We'll hopefully hook up with her when she comes back from Australia after Christmas and New Year's.'

And even Dannii herself confirmed it is a possibility.

When Twitter fans asked if the rumours were true, Dannii replied, ‘Yes we are gonna hook up next year!'

The X Factor star recently jetted back to Australia for some much needed Christmas time off with model boyfriend Kris Smith.

We look forward to hearing her new solo single next year!

It will be fantastic to hear some new music from the legend that is Dannii Minogue. She has been underrated for so many years. Her dance tracks are fantastic and many people must agree with her having notched up a record 13 No.1 dance tracks in the UK. I listened to her version of This is It the other day and it put a smile on my face. She has a fantastic voice and deserves to be up there with Cheryl.

I have always really rated Danni as a dance artist and its easy to forget how many hit singles she has had over the years.(Cheryls got a long way to go) The Freemasons are the perfect hook up for her. Go Danni Go.

Dannii is the Queen of Clubs and Queen of the World! I love her! I really want her to do well. I'm sick of seeing Cheryl Cole's face everywhere! Dannii is elegant, and she is a Style Icon! Her fashion line is going to be huge!! I will buy her album and I hope it makes Number 1!

Much more exciting than the news that Thick Lass (Cheryl Cole) has released yet another assault on our senses. She should bear in mind that Dannii is recognized as a real artist in dance music circles and has a whole list of good music to her name. People tend to forget that Dannii was making good music long before Thick Lass was entering talent contests and beating up students working part time to fund law degrees. Well done Dannii...time to show them how it IS done. Good luck..xx

Many of us have waited for quite some time now for Dannii to release a brand new album, sadly so far she's only given us lukewarm singles and recycled material. Dannii has everything to be up there with her big sis, I just question her criteria and/or management.
I really hope she blows us completely away with a banging new sound in 2010 to give "Neon Nights" a deserving continuity and take her place once again in the ever-changing kingdom of pop music.
