Never fear X Factor fans! The talent show will be back for another series in 2010, and Cheryl Cole WILL be on the judging panel - but Dannii Minogue has yet to confirm her attendance.

After Simon Cowell threatened to axe the show only days ago, the speculation over X Factor's future has finally been put to rest.

For a while it was thought that Simon might decide to put the show on hold next year, instead concentrating on launching the format in America.

There were also whispers that Cheryl Cole might be giving up her seat in order to concentrate on her Stateside career - but it has now been confirmed that not only will the nation's sweetheart be back for 2010, but she'll also be getting a massive boost to her £1.2 million deal.

But fellow judge Dannii Minogue's future remains uncertain. It is thought that the Aussie starlet is unhappy after being constantly asked to switch seats with Louis Walsh on the panel throughout the series.

‘I have no idea why I was told to change seats,' she said in an interview yesterday with Heat magazine. ‘ I was told four different reasons by four different people, who all said it was the other person's decision.'

‘I actually thought I might be judging from the side of the stage at one point,' she added.

We're a little devastated at the thought that our most stylish judge may not be returning...

Don't do it Dannii! We'll miss you!

Definitely wouldn't be the same without Dannii. I don't know why everyone makes such a big fuss about Cheryl. I hope this means that if Dannii does come back, they'll up her salary too.

I think Danni should stay. She has been a consumate professional this year, very dignified, positive & glamorous (except for that one comment re; Danyl). If anyone should go it should be Louis! Add another judge by all means OR replace LW with Robbie Williams, but definitely not the loud mouthed trashy Mel B!!

Dannii should definitely stay!! Cheryl is annoying at the best of times (especially with her try-hard frock choices) and the same goes for Louis. If they loose a classy, supportive mentor and judge like Dannii, the X Factor will be a complete shambles, with a panel made up of loud-mouthed judges that care more about what the public thinks of them rather than their contestants. Dannii brings style and balance - she can't go!

Keep Danni in- she is fabulous!!! I think it's time again for an 'x factor the rivals'. There must be some great new groups out there waiting to be formed.

She has done a fantastic job this year!
Cherly on the other hand ....no thanks, she can go ! She is totally over rated and I'm sick of her being called the Nations Sweetheart !

I dont blame Danni for being upset with the way shes treated, from a viewers point of view its clear Simon couldnt care less about her and during the finals watching Simon & Cheryl hugging and holding each other was sickening!

Dannii is the only judge that gives honest opinions, Cheryl and Simon are too busy making each other and their acts look goods. Dannii is the best thing in the xfactor and was so dignified during the X factor. So classy and pretty

OH THE JOY OF CHERYL STAYING (NOT)

Danni will be better off without them anyway, but as a judge she has knowledge, is (usually) truthful and has the best style NO CONTEST. At least danni isnt on there to win support from the public like cheryl is..

i reallyy want dannni to leave the x factor coz id rather have robbie williams as a judge on x factor he has had more experience and he would make a great mentor
dannii gets big headed and over competitive cheryl is a fabulous judge and she should stay for at least another year dannii is pregnant so she should leave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Dannii should stay because she is a good judge. Amy Cheryl is not annoying i like her. If Dannii does go due to baby Kinmberly walsh should take place so Cheryl will have one of her band mates

Louis should go after what he did with Jedward!! they were pants an he kept them in becuase they were irish just like him... that was not fair on the other groups that were better than Jedward!! I think Robbie Williams should take Louis's place!!! GET LOUIS OUT!!!! Keep Cheryl, Dannii & Simon and replace Louis with Robbie !!
