Nadine Coyle is envious of band mate Cheryl

Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle has admitted she is jealous of band mate Cheryl Cole's success.

However Nadine - who is considered by many to have the best voice in the band - has rubbished claims there is an on-going feud between the two.

Cheryl's best friend in the band is Kimberley Walsh, while Nadine says she 'probably clicks most' with Sarah Harding instead.

But Nadine denied split gossip saying, ‘we are not at war. I phoned her up after she performed on The X Factor to tell her how fantastic she was'.

She still admitted, 'I think anyone would be envious that Cheryl has Simon Cowell's backing, he's such a big player'.

'But, in truth, I have been lucky to work with some really big names in the States.'

While Fight For This Love singer Cheryl has been basking in The X Factor spotlight, and scoring a number one hit with her album, 3 words, 24-year-old Nadine has moved to LA where she is recording her own solo LP.

She's been working with some industry big-hitters including Robbie Williams collaborator Guy Chambers, but insists 'I've been writing my own songs'.

'It's been an incredible experience, I think people will like the album. I'm hoping to release it in the spring.'

Nadine has little time left for jealousy, as she also runs a bar in LA and lives with her American football-playing boyfriend, Jason Bell.

She grinned, 'I won't be moving back to Britain or Ireland - I love America too much. I'm an LA girl now.'

Can't wait to hear Nadine's solo stuff - I bet it's going to be really good, I am sure she will enjoy huge sucess - especially in the States.
