It's one of the most hotly anticipated films of 2010, and now producers have finally released the first poster for Sex And The City 2.

Our favourite four girls are heading back to screens, and the wait for the return of Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha is nearly over.

And now we can finally feast our eyes on the brand new poster.

Lovely Carrie returns, donning a simple white Halson dress, accessorised to the max with towering gold courts, a gold clutch and a glittering statement necklace, not forgetting the gold, mirrored aviators.

But is the stunning SJP looking as glam as usual?

Whatever their wardrobe choices, the famous girls certainly get maximum points for effort.

They've been hard at work filming for the long awaited sequel, stopping traffic dead as they played out scenes in the heart of New York.

And most recently the fab four have been as far as Morocco on movie duty, though we have no idea what they get up to there.

But despite all their hard work, it seems the girls do get a few days off - Kristin Davis was spotted on a romantic beach holiday with her new man, yesterday.

I have no qualms with the outfit, it's perfectly nice albeit a bit boring, but I do think the poster is attrocious - those relfective sunglasses and the monochrome background make it look more like an action/epic movie than a fashion chick flick!

The poster looks too sci-fi for my liking. Someone clearly spent a lot of time in photoshop - she looks like an animation not a real person. Too much of a departure from what we're used too - sorry!

I used to have a Jem (she's truly outrageous!) poster just like this when I was little.

Actually I really, really like it.

I like that they've not airbrushed out the fact she's slightly older and I would assume the understated clothes are some kind of reflection of the ecconomic climate in the US.

I think it's pretty and shiny - just as we want Carrie to be.

I really hope what I've read about the sequel's storyline is not true. Big hurts Carrie so her and the girls head abroad to help her get over it ... Wasn't that the first movie?

Seen a lot of the piccies recently..
Well they do all look a bit older but ..hey..dont we all.....cant stay circa 1steverSATC35/36 forever...have to move on..but the film Im sure will retain all the previous magic..roll on Mr. Big and arent they trying to take us back to the start with some of the clothes...tho the age of them makes it all a bit weird in the 80s gear...cant wait.
