Simple Life star Nicole Richie has given us a first glimpse of her chic new hair style in intimate pics uploaded to her personal website.

She looks the picture of health as she poses with rockstar partner Joel Madden, two-month-old son Sparrow, and daughter Harlow, who is almost two.

Richie was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in LA last month, suffering from pneumonia. She remained in hospital for several days.

It looks like a beaming Nicole has made a full recovery, however. And as the family snaps show, she's swapped her blonde tresses for shiny dark locks, chopped into a sleek angular jaw-level bob.
