Louis Walsh to manage John and Edward
By Charlotte Gunn on Friday 4 December 2009
They may have been booted off the show, but it's not the end of the Louis-Jedward partnership.
Despite the boos, Louis Walsh still has every faith in John and Edward Grimes. So much so, that he's fought against X Factor tradition to take the boys under his wing and personally manage their careers.
In the past, all X Factor finalists have been automatically signed to Modest Management, an agency headed up by music industry big-wigs Richard Griffiths and Harry Magee. But Louis was determined to get John and Edward for himself so he negotiated a deal allowing them to move over.
Speaking on the decision, Louis said: 'Despite all the doubters, John and Edward proved themselves on The X Factor and I've always been convinced they have a great career ahead of them.'
But is a career in music really going to work for the twins, who were repeatedly told they 'can't sing' on the show?
On his plans for Jedward, Louis added: 'I'm delighted I'll be able to continue to work with them. We're looking into music as well as TV deals but it is too early to give exact details.'
One thing's for sure, Saturday night TV just isn't the same without them.
Do you think Jedward should focus on a TV career? Let us know in the comments section below.

I'm delighted. Louis was their champion from the start. They're the most exciting thing to happen to TV in a long time. can't wait to see more of them in any form. The X-Factor is very dull without them.
