X Factor's Lucie Jones: 'Danyl not good enough to win'

Former X Factor contestant Lucie Jones has slated former singing rival Danyl Johnson's talents, claiming he is not good enough to win the show.

The 18-year-old, who was booted off the programme in a spectacular showdown with Jedward last month, told the Daily Mirror the bisexual singer's performances are not as good as Simon Cowell makes out.

'If you look at the way Simon stands up for Danyl every time he sings...' she said. 'I'm sorry, Danyl's not that good every time he sings.'

Instead, she has named Olly Murs, Stacey Solomon and Joe McElderry as the three acts who most deserve a place in the final, and predicted that Joe will go on to win the show.

She added: 'He's a ridiculously good singer with a great personality and cute and good looking at the same time.'

Shes entitled to have an opinion just like we are airing ours here. Considering the way she was treated and humilliated in front of 16 million viewers i think she has been extremely dignified during interviews and so on.
As for being jealous, i dont think so some how.
Lucie has everything to look forward to,she has a beautiful voice,she's young and very attractive, and the world is at her feet...

Im sure her dreams will come true and i wish her the best of luck...

Well she didn't say that he wasn't good, she said he's not good everytime which is true. On Saturday Simon called his performance of your song 'sensational' when it was awful! And rock week, over half of it was out of tune. Unfortunately, lucie was the strongest vocalist, but Simon values money over peoples futures. Oh and he signed danyl before the live shows began.

She sucks! Who does she think she is? She absolutely spoilt Footprints in the Sand with her dragging voice (not to mention others too). It was the right time that she went out when she did. Simon was absolutely right about her capability. And here she is slashing a potential world class. Go get a grip of urself, gurll!

Lucy is entitled to her view !!! and she is right, Danyl's voice is flat, it is only when he sings a really big note that demands attention. He sings through his nose and does not put emotion into the songs, also his pronounciation is poor. Simon Cowell is not being honest !!!

Who is she???? and what is she talking about????? Nobody will hear her irritating voice ever again but DANYL is the star who is internationally known and recognized - USA loves him! He will be recording his album here soon that will hit #1 in world charts!

In part of Lucie Jones, that's her opinion and maybe its not the type of music she wants to but what i want to LJ is being true not to say she's jealous. To Danyl, i love how u sang but maybe its ur luck that u will end up to top4 and still wishing u good luck on your journey.

Lucie has been honest and dignified throughout. Nothing against Danyl but he started most of his songs completely out of tune, especially the first group song, when he was awful. Lucie was the only one who actually followed the theme properly each week, very well. She will be the biggest star with longevity in the business and will deifinitely be on the big screen. Jealous women who wish they had made more of their lives should keep green-eyed comments to themselves. Keep smiling gorgeous girl.
