Katie Holmes explains Suri’s high heels
Rex Features
It's no secret that little Suri Cruise has developed a love of heels, and now Katie Holmes has explained why.
The famous Mrs Cruise was attending an event for her Dizzy Feet charity on Sunday and told Access Hollywood, ‘She, like every little girl - she loves my high heels'.
And mini fashionista Suri must have decided she wanted her very own pair.
But despite the uproar over Suri's teetering heels, Katie confirmed her daughter's grown-up shoes are definitely safe for young feet.
‘They are actually ballroom dancing shoes for kids,' Katie said. ‘I found them for her and she loves them.'

Suri is obviously thrilled with her new dancing shoes, as she's been spotted out and about in them countless times during the last few months.

Is Suri too young for high heels, or should she be allowed to play dress up? Let us know your thoughts in the comments box below.

These heels are okay for occasional use but are NOT good for everyday wear. Let her stay young for longer, she has enough time for growing up!
