X Factor Latest: Lloyd Daniels sent home as semi-finalists are chosen

Lloyd Daniels became the latest X Factor casualty last night, as voters dashed his dreams and sent him home.
In the first show which saw voting figures alone determine who would stay and who would go, viewers decided Lloyd's rendition of ‘I'm still standing' wasn't quite enough to keep him in the competition.

The teenage singer put on a brave face during the results show, telling X Factor host Dermot O'Leary: 'I've enjoyed every moment.'
But Lloyd couldn't hide his disappointment as he left the studio for the last time, looking downcast as a car took him back to the X Factor house.
His mentor Cheryl Cole stayed upbeat, saying: 'I'm really proud of him and he needs to be really proud of himself. It's amazing that he's come so far.
'He should be really proud of himself. He's only 16. He's got loads of time to blossom into a proper little star.'
For many Lloyd's departure didn't come as a surprise.
After constant taunts from judge Louis Walsh, the Welsh star has been on the verge of walking out of the competition.
And just last week angry fans booed as Lloyd stayed in ahead of popular twins John and Edward Grimes.

Poor Lloyd! It was definitely his time to go though. Someone had to, and he was the weakest singer left. I genuinely have no idea which 3 will make it into the semi final though!

Im Soo Sorryy Thaht Lloydd Wentt Out Of The Xfactorr I Keptt Votingg All Night Till The Lines Shut But It Obviously Wasnt Enough! :( And To Be Honest I Dont Care Who Goes Out Of The Xfactor Noww And To Be Honest Im Not Watching It Ever Again To Find Out Because It Isnt Goin To Be The Same Without Lloydd He May Not Of Been The Bestt Butt He Gavee It Hiss Everything And I Lovee Lloyd For That And It Wasnt Time For Lloyd To Go Because To Me He's Onlyy Young And The Rest Are Older And Moree Experienced They Dont Get As Nervous But Pooorr Lloydd Had Constantly Been Critisized BY Louie Walshh !! Lloyd should have won the competition. But Joe was my 2nd favourite and went on to win anyways! so yay. But im sure this wont be the last we have heard from gorgeous Lloyd. xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Lloyd has an amazing voice and i loved every one of his performances. I know he will continue to follow his dreams and have a happy life. Lloyd is actual buff stuff phhooaarrrr love him ;) xxxx Gemma xx
