Victoria Beckham's bunions! Emergency op for star
By Louise O'Connell on Friday 27 November 2009
Proof that you have to suffer for your art, Victoria Beckham fashion icon and constant style re-inventor, has put her tootsies through too much.
Years of wearing six inch heels, even to the shops or to take her boys out on a daytrip, has taken it's toll.
Victoria, 35, is always seen in ultra vertiginous heels, along with tailored dresses and huge handbags - they've become her trademark look.
But constant pain due to large bunions - caused by wearing heels for too long - have left Victoria in agony.

Whenever Victoria gets home she has to pack her feet with ice and do special foot exercises to relieve the pain and try to stop the damage.
Victoria is very worried that the shooting pain is affecting her posture and that if she has the operation she will be out of heels for at least two months. But doctors have warned her that she has to either stop wearing heels for a few months or have a bunionectomy as soon as possible. Victoria, who describes her feet as, 'the bane of my life,' fears that her 5ft 6 inch frame will look odd without her killer heels.
Of course, Victoria could swap her stilettos for a pair of on-trend ballet pumps or loafers, but no, 'I beyond hate ballerina flats,' she has said. 'I can't walk in them. Unless they're on a ballet dancer doing ballet, I just don't get it. I love heels.'
A Beckham insider told The Daily Mail that the Beckham household is all about the feet at the moment, 'David is having painkilling injections for bone bruising on his foot, while Victoria is in agony with her misshapen feet.'
Moral of the story: You can take the bunions off the girl but you can't take away her love of heels.

YUK!!! Her feet look horrible. She should really stop being so vain and start looking after her body

She is very behaving foolishly. Usually, operations like this never leave you perfect and predispose you to arthritis and knock on postural problems. Getting old is hard enough without disadvantaging yourself like this when you are in your prime. It's just not worth it, Victoria.

U go girl..get them done....case of never wearing heels again!! the shooting pain will also cause arch probs I reckon...so ..then u have both..broken arch equals flat feet..lovely and they spread ..then..ballet flats will look 'wonderful' not!! Go getem done. Good luck

It is aload of rubbish to say that the operation for the removal of bunions is very painful. I had both feet corrected for bunions and found the operation after effects no problem at all. have the op victoria before they get any worse and they will.
