Joint birthday bash for Girl Aloud's Sarah & Kimberley

Girls Aloud band mates Sarah Harding and Kimberley Walsh were partying hard over the weekend to celebrate their birthdays.

The superstar singers turned 28 within two days of each other, and decided to pull out all the stops with a joint London bash.

The party - held at Sarah's new Farringdon club, Kanaloa - was a glittering affair. Among the celeb guests were Sugababes Amelle, Heidi and Jade, as well as X Factor Creative Director, Brian Friedman.

Bithday girl Sarah looked stunning in a black backless mini, while Kimberely flaunted her curves in a figure hugging zip-front bodycon dress.

Savvy style icon Nicola Roberts turned up in a hot pink ruffle dress, while Cheryl Cole arrived still dressed in her coral X Factor ensemble, with husband Ashley in tow.

Flashing her ring at every opportunity, it seems the stylish starlet was still trying to dispel rumours of marriage problems.

An insider said: ‘All eyes were on Cheryl and everyone was commenting on how happy she looked with her man.

‘They were so affectionate and tactile, sitting together holding hands the whole night.'

This comes after the star posted a picture of herself wearing her £160,000 wedding ring on twitter, captioned ‘3 Words. Diamonds Are Forever'.

Notably absent from the bash was the girls' band mate Nadine Coyle, who's in America working on a solo album. We wonder what Miss Cole will think of the competition?!

I really like Cheryl's latest single. But I'm really not convinced about her marriage... something tells me it's all a little fake.
