Robert Pattinson: I dated a fan out of boredom

Ladies you could be in with a chance. Twilight superstar Robert Pattinson has admitted that in the past he HAS dated a fan. 

With thousands of girls vying for his attention, the sultry star admitted that he once went on a date with an obsessed fan - but only out of boredom.

The Twilight hunk admitted to US chat show host, David Letterman that he finds acting a very lonely job and once went out with a fan just for the company.

Robert revealed the fan waited outside his apartment for three weeks as he filmed in Spain back in 2007.

He said, ‘I was so chronically bored that just one day... I said, 'Hey, do you want to just go to dinner or something? I mean, no one else wants to hang out with me.''

He revealed the fan took him to her parents' restaurant, but he still ended up with the bill!

'I kind of complained about everything in my life for about two hours, and then she gave me the bill at the end,' he said. ‘I had to pay for it, and then she was never back outside my apartment ever again.' Oh dear!

The Hollywood heartthrob is now rumoured to be in a relationship with Twilight co star, Kristen Stuart, so we hope he's not lonely any more.
