Nicole Richie admitted to hospital with pneumonia

Nicole Richie has been admitted to an LA hospital and is being treated for pneumonia.

The new mum, who gave birth to son Sparrow in September, entered Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in LA yesterday, after complaining of feeling ill for days.

She even took to her Twitter page over the weekend to complain of her continuing sickness, writing, 'ok cold, it's been 6 days. Lets part ways graciously & keep it moving.'


A representative confirmed to People that Richie was 'doing well.'

It's been a tough week for the stylista, who was in court on Monday seeking a restraining order against two paparazzi. The request was granted, but Richie appeared subdued, and her lawyer indicated that she was unwell.
