Kate Moss motto: ‘Nothing tastes as good as being skinny feels’

Kate Moss has revealed one of the highly irresponsible mottos she's been fed through the cut-throat modelling industry, and that she tries to live her life by.

She's got decades of modelling experience under her belt - not to mention a high selling perfume collection and must-have fashion range for Topshop - and now the super has revealed one of the sayings that may just hold the secret to her success.

And it's fair to say that it's probably not one to share with the kids...

Kate told WWD that there are plenty of mottos that she tries to keep in mind in order to maintain her level of success.

‘There's ‘Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.' That's one of them,' she reveals.

But before you recoil in total horror, the model mum did then redeem herself by, adding: ‘You try and remember, but it never works.'

Kate also talked about the mentors and friends that she's had throughout her career, and how they often opt for the tough love approach, telling her ‘Oh no, Kate, that's not a good look.'

But Mossy, now 35, says it hasn't affected her outlook on life.

‘It sounds really corny, but I think that if you're beautiful inside, it shows on the outside for sure,' she says. ‘You can be a pretty face, but if you're not a nice person, it just doesn't work.'

‘I'm not traditionally a beauty, but apparently people think I'm alright,' she adds. ‘If you're a nice person, it definitely helps.'

I think it's a fine thing to say, I don't see what all the fuss is about. It's a great mantra to keep you away from a cream cake if you're struggling to fit into a dress!

personally, i think this is amazing. my formal for senior year is coming up and everytime i eat now i think about this and it helps, dont forget i am a boy but my god this is great! i really wanna loose three pounds

She doesn't experience great tasting food because she smokes, it dulls your taste buds & is an appetite suppressant! 'Skinny' = a bag of bones! 'smoker' = smelly skin, hair, breath! Nice!

I really hope not too many people get all faux outraged at this comment... come on most of us are trying to trade in a little pleasure for a weight that we are happy with. Remember that the next time you are choking down a weight watchers meal.
