Robbie Williams confirms Take That reunion
By Megan Conner on Thursday 5 November 2009
Finally, Robbie Williams has confirmed he is working with Take That again and a band reunion on stage IS on the horizon.
The singer made his revelation in a recording of Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, to be aired tomorrow night, telling the chat show host: 'We've got together, done bits and bobs.'
ROBBIE RETROSPECTIVE: LOOK BACK AT MR WILLIAM'S MANY LOOKS HERE!
When asked if he would reunite with the band for a performance soon, he replied: 'I can't say much but, yes, I hope so.'
Is Robbie harbouring a little secret? We have a sneaky suspicion the singer will be joining the boys for a public performance sooner than we think, when Gary Barlow kicks off this year's Children in Need with a star-studded concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
Put together by Gary himself, the show will be aired live on BBC1 and is already set to feature artists including Leona Lewis, Chris Martin and Take That. But it remains to be seen whether the stars of the show will be Take That as a four-piece, or as the original five-piece band.

As evidence of his commitment to regrouping with the boys, Robbie revealed a tattoo of the Take That logo during his interview with Ross. He also spoke of his love for his girlfriend, American actress Ayda Field, telling Ross he is coming around to the idea of starting a family.
'She's a wonderful person and I'm in love,' he said. '[She] keeps me grounded. She's really broody and I'm getting there.'
Watch the interview tomorrow night on BBC1.

I think its a mistake, take that is doing fine without him and I think he could spoil ambiance in the group

Give the boy a break Mary - it would be fantastic to see them all together again - and better still to raise money for Children in Need!

Is that a new tatoo?! Weird that he's had that done all of a sudden!

Whoa there Mary! Relax will ya! Haha! It might be nice for the band to reform for Children in Need, I like Robbie and I like Take That so in my opinion....things can only get better.
Haha! (Shameless plug.)

Take That is Gary Barlow and his backing singers, they don't have the same charisma without Robbie. He will make them bigger and better.

I am a HUGE TT fan & have been ever since the start! Take That are doing an excellent job as a foursome, I'm a little scared Rob joining them will only ruin things! :(

I agree with Mary, i am a huge Take That fan but would be upset to see Robbie back with the guys. They are awesome on there own with out Robbie getting on the wagon!

Had anyone watched the electric proms performance Robbie did a couple of weeks ago, you would know that the tatoo was done in a moment of celebration having just been reconciled with the rest of TT in LA 18 months ago. Robbie now describes it as 'pathetic' and says the boys called him a d***k for having it done. This was all said with great affection - Rob seems immensly glad to be 'back in the fold' and I think it's none of anyone else's business if a group of grown men want to perform together again. Bring it on!

Whoa there Mary! It's fab that Robbie and Take that have dropped their problems/ grudges - life is too short to be bitter over things from the past! I think it would be fab for them to rejoin for Children in need- It shows they have moved on and are in better places! Good on you boys!!!!!!!!!!!!
