Sugababes original line-up WILL reform

Sugababes - Celebrity News - Marie Claire Rex Features

The rumour mill went into overdrive recently, when ex-sugababe Mutya Buena jokingly suggested the original line-up should reform.

But it seems the trio of school friends thought it was such a good idea that they have actually decided to go for it, and we can now confirm that the three original sugas WILL be reuniting to form another band.

Keisha, the last remaining member of the original sugas exited recently, when she was unceremoniously replaced with Eurovision singer, Jade Ewan.

The line-up of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy has not been since 2001, but the three have recently been spotted talking to a major record label.

They have also reportedly been deciding on which producers to work with for new tracks.

Meanwhile, the current Sugababes have been dogged with problems over new band member, Jade, cancelling their first live performance last month due to 'legal problems'.

How about the Sugarivals?!!!

Oh hilarious! I can't believe how this saga is carrying on. How can there be room for TWO sets of sugababes?! Surely one will just push the other out. And they'll all sound the same anyway! Two of the members in the old band left out of choice anyway - it it a coincidence they've decided to come back as their solo careers aren't going anywhere?

No Cate I think you'll find Siobhan has made 2 excellent albums which her record labels horrendously messed up on promoting and she does it for the music and not fame or money.
Hence why she first left apart from the face Keisha 'made her life a living hell'.

This will be brilliant! You can just picture the vicious chart battle now.

Their record companies will love the extra exoposure, which will no doubt result in higher sales for both bands. Especially if their singles and albums are released at the same time (which lets face it, they probably will be.)

So, win win sitution no?
Comment by Emily on November 04 12:19

They really shouldn't bother

Sugapuffs? Sugamamas? We're all gonna know who they are anyway, so what does it matter!
Comment by Leoni on November 04 12:40

They should be called the Sugababes again and the other ones should change their name, because theres no original Sugababes left.

How about 'bitter sweet'!!!! to counteract the suga!!! Well well well what a turn up for the books. Although if the rumour mill is to be believed then it won't last that long as they will be catfigthing each other within months!!!
