Jamelia to divorce footballer husband

After tying the knot just 18 months ago, singer Jamelia is divorcing her footballer husband, Darren Byfield.

The star moved out of the home they share last week, and has already approached lawyers to start divorce proceedings.

The couple released a statement confirming the split, but insisted there was no one else involved.

It's no secret that it has been quite a rocky road for the pair, and their on-again, off-again status has often set tongues wagging.

A friend said: ‘Their relationship has been through lots of ups and downs. Jamelia took him back after he was accused of straying, but the last year has been tough.

‘Jamelia decided to leave last week and there is no going back this time'.

This is not the first time the pair have split. Back in 2007, Jamelia called off their engagement after rumours of Darren's womanising ways started to circle.

But the couple patched things up and married at a ceremony in East Sussex in June last year.

Why should we care?! With so many important things to worry about who cares if another celeb marriage hits the rocks?

Like caz said - who cares??? why keep bringing on gossip on people we don't care about, Jamelia is not a celeb - she's nothing!!!
