Sex and the City hits Morocco

Forget New York, they'll be sex in a new city for the SATC sequel, with Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon spotted filming in Morocco last week.

With no sign Kim Cattrall or Kristin Davis, Parker and Nixon ditched Manhattan for Marrakech, on location in the city's famous squares.

And while she might be out of her hometown, there's no signs of the famous Carrie Bradshaw style going anywhere, and SJP stepped out in a voluminous floor-skimming colour block skirt, vertiginous baby pink snakeskin shoes and a J'Adore Dior tee.

As for Miranda, and Nixon donned an all-white look, including a long flowing skirt, jacket and handbag.

Meanwhile, SATC stylist Patricia Field told People magazine that the cast and crew will be camped out in the country for six weeks: 'We're shooting there for about six weeks. You'll probably see belly dancers and Bedouins.'

As for why our favourite TV fashionistas are in Morocco, the plot remains tightly under wraps.
