Lindsay Lohan's dad says she could be dead ‘in a year'

Lindsay Lohan's father has said that he wants his troubled daughter to go back into rehab, fearing that she could be ‘dead in a year.'

It's hardly been a case of happy families for the Lohan's of late, with Lindsay and her father Michael having been fighting a vicious war of words over the past few months.

But this latest attack might just be one step too far, with Michael comparing his daughter's lifestyle to those of now-deceased stars.

‘She needs long-term rehab,' he told Grazia magazine. ‘I fear the worst. Look at Elvis, Anna Nicole Smith, Heath Ledger.'

‘It could be a year, a month, a day - who knows,' he said. ‘She has a plethora of medicine you can't mix or drink with.'

Lindsay has hit back against her dad and his ‘vicious lies', fiercely denying any prescription drug abuse, and saying: ‘I'm so hurt that someone who calls himself my father needs to use the press to communicate with me.'

‘I have not spoken to my father, nor have I responded to his threatening and erratic messages over the last several months,' she said. ‘He should instead try to be a real father.'

Poor Lindsay Lohan - he's not at her best at the moment. Such a shame as she is so naturally beautiful, I hope she doesn't have any more lip fillers and silly procedures. Hopefully someone can help her get back on track.

Another attention seeking waste of time. What must real Hollywood great like John Wayne, Steve McQueen, Humph Bogart and Janet Leigh etc. who very rarely had their private lifes on exhibition, must think about these spoilt little brats...who's PR managers should be shot by the way.
Old man is just earning off the back of his daughter as usual.
