Katie Holmes took adorable daughter Suri Cruise costume shopping in preparation for Halloween this weekend.

Never before has the saying 'like mother like daughter' rung as true as it does with Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise.

The stylish tot is clearly following in the fashionable footsteps of her mother, and indulged in some serious retail therapy in Boston.

But no witches, cats, pumpkins or ghosts for this little love's Halloween outfit - Suri was snapped prancing about the fabric and craft store in a glam princess gown.

Hitching up the floor-length Cinderella-esque number, the three-year-old also showed off a rather dazzling pair of gold T-bar shoes.

Proud mum Katie recently spoke out about her daughter's love of fashion to US show Access Hollywood, saying: ‘She just loves sparkly things and bright colours.'

‘She has an idea of what she wants to wear every day,' she continued. ‘And so do I, so we go with it!'

We've long been admirers of Suri's super-cute sartorial choices, but with a wardrobe reportedly costing a cool £2 million, it's little wonder.

One things for sure though, she's bound to get plenty of goodies if she goes trick or treating in that darling dress up!

Sorry but what is "adorable" about this child? She is a toddler in expensive clothes and high heels(??)who is being used by parents to get publicity. I feel sorry for the child growing up in that environment
