Matt Damon’s sister accidentally auditioned to play his lover!

Can you imagine how horrified Matt Damon's stepsister must have been, when she discovered that the role she was auditioning for involved a love scene with her brother?

22-year-old Sarah Bradford - who grew up with the actor when their parents got married - went to try out for a dream role in her bro's latest action film, The Adjustment Bureau.

After successfully reading for the part, the aspiring actress was shocked to discover that the part involved jumping into bed for a love scene with Matt.

‘It was for a character called Elise - she is basically the queen bee at this ballet academy' Sarah told New York magazine. ‘All of a sudden they say, "Are you aware that if you get this role, you'll be playing Matt's love, having a love affair with your brother?"

‘My jaw just dropped!'

Luckily the somewhat incestuous situation reached a happy resolve, when Sarah successfully auditioned for another role.

‘I just read for a more appropriate role in the movie, Elise's friend, and I got the part,' she explained. ‘It's very exciting. What parents wouldn't want their children to work together?'

Did she not read the screenplay before trying for the part?!! Surely an actress should prepare for an 'interview' the same way we all do i.e. read up first & know your subject! Can't say I would be happy at such an unprofessional start, if I were a producer or director....

you don't always get to read the full screenplay, just certain scenes when you are auditioning for movies and TV. Glad she got the alternative part
