Victoria Beckham to judge on So You Think You Can Dance?

It seems Victoria Beckham will be temporarily swapping dresses for dance moves, in order to judge contestants in the new talent-spotting TV show, So You Think You Can Dance?

Hurrah for more VB screen time! La Beckham is in talks to appear as a guest judge alongside Strictly's Arlene Philips and ‘Nasty' Nigel Lythcoe of Popstars fame, in the show set to hit our screens early next year.

A show insider told the Daily Mail: ‘The plan is for her to judge in one or two shows. Victoria has only made a handful of appearances on British television so it would be a real coup.'

This follows Victoria's widely watched appearance as guest judge on US hit show American Idol - where she managed to draw in an average of 26.3 million viewers per episode.

So in a genius move, the BBC have brought her in to do what Cheryl Cole does for X Factor, or what Alesha Dixon now does for Strictly Come Dancing - to widen the audience and up the ratings.

The show - which is presented by Cat Deeley, and sees contestants battle it out to be crowned the best dancer - has been a huge success Stateside, running for five series.

But... Does she think she can dance? 'I worked hard at it,' she confessed, of the Spice's dance routines. ‘I was never going to be the best singer or dancer.'

But really, who cares? We're certainly all for a bit of Posh on the panel!
