Now here's a sight Sex and the City fans thought they'd never see – Samantha Jones in a wedding dress!

In a possible spoiler alert, Kim Cattrall hit the New York set in a white bridal gown, complete with veil, while filming scenes for the sequel.

With no sign of a prospective groom, who the lucky man might be remains under wraps, although script leaks have revealed that Samantha's ex, Smith Jerrod, will return for the sequel, despite their break-up during the previous flick.

Also on set, Sarah Jessica Parker was in full Carrie mode - in a green brochade shift dress and multi-strap heels.

If Ms Jones does wed, then she'll be the last of the quartet to marry – Carrie wed Mr Big in the first film, while Charlotte is married to Harry and Miranda to Steve.

But would SATC producers marry off TV's most famous sex-loving singleton? We'll have to wait and see!

As there's already been photos of flash back scenes to the girls in the 80's I wouldn't be suprised if this is some other sort of flash back scene, there are hints in the series about Samantha having her heart broken long before the series takes place, perhaps she got left at the alter or something, explaining why she always found it difficult to be in a relationship.

It just seems too convenient for her to be getting married, it just wouldn't make sense.

Why do we have to wait a year to find out?!

As there have been so many little piccie snippets let loose and lots of snippets of storylines...I hazard a guess that its a throw one off the trail job!! ..Dont think the producers would give the story up a year before..reckon its to remind the us adoring fans that they are around and up and running.

I don't think the producers will be able to resist marrying her off, that's the difference between a series and a film. In the first movie she was 50, isn't it too scary for people to contemplate being single after 50? it's turned from a drama into a fairy tale. And incidentally, can anyone explain why Big didn't marry carrie in the first place instead of gong off marrying other people? I thought he was supposed to be commitment phobic.

to add to my comment re piccie snippets previously..I still rek that the producers are playing games.All the fans watching the filming would think to make sure the word is spead about what they think they are seeing..plus so what if she is single after 50 a good many women are!! Big is probably commitment phobic just because he has been down the aisle so many times!! Also I think we are led to see that he considered Carrie just a very good 'mate' if u have watched all the series thoroughly and then it just occurred to him the truth of the matter!!
Actually, that wedding dress and her hair in piccie is not the best look of our Sam is it? i wouldnt think she would see herself in that particular getup..bet the team at Marieclaire would say same..could do a lot better than that. Now..I will get some comments ...o well.
