Barack Obama: Kanye West’s a ‘jackass’
Rex Features
American President Barack Obama has branded Kanye West a ‘jackass’ after the singer stormed the stage during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Speaking during a CNBC interview yesterday, Obama’s damning comment was in fact made off the record during a break, but was subsequently tweeted – and then deleted – by ABC News reporter Terry Moran.
Moran’s tweet read: ‘Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a ‘jackass’ for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT’S presidential,;
Meanwhile West has already appeared on the chat show Jay Leno, admitting he is ‘ashamed’ after his shock outburst on stage at the VMAs, when the singer interrupted country star Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for winning Best Female Video and insisted Beyoncé should have taken the accolade for her video Single Ladies.
‘It was very… rude, period. And, you know, I’d like to be able to apologise to her in person,’ confessed West, adding, ‘I’m just ashamed that my hurt caused someone else’s hurt.’
West’s faux pas has prompted criticism from across the industry, but it was Swift’s family – notably her mum – who’s wrath the rapper really incurred.
According to reports Andrea Swift ‘tore into him’ and later when West apologised on his website about the whole debacle, he wrote that Swift’s mother ‘said the same thing my mother would have said and later wrote: ‘That was Taylor's moment and I had no right in any way to take it from her. I am truly sorry.'

it's about time Mr West was banned from these award ceremonies. if he's not spouting off that he didn't win (oh boo hoo, poor him), he's stealing someones most memorable moments of their career to push his opinions down everyones throats.
This is music- not politics.
RUDE is not the word to describe his behaviour- that word, cannot be printed.
