Janet Jackson’s VMA tribute to Michael

Janet Jackson will make a one-off homage to her late brother Michael in a special tribute performance at the Video Music Awards (VMAs).

The singer has announced she plans to honour her brother’s death with a ‘special appearance’ at the awards show at Radio City Music Hall in New York on Sunday night.

No details have been released about Janet’s set – or even if she will in fact sing at the event – but it does indicate that the event is bound to be an emotional night.

Meanwhile, Jermaine Jackson has reportedly rocked the family boat by organising a special Michael Jackson tribute show in Vienna later this month.

The Jackson clan are said to be in uproar over the decision, after not being consulted and feeling incensed that the concert should take place in a country that has no connection with the King of Pop.

One unnamed member of the family has even dubbed the show a selfish act by Jermaine, calling it ‘The Jermaine Jackson show’.
