Robbie Williams’ comeback single set for chart success
Robbiewilliams.com
The first single from Robbie Williams’s comeback album has had its first showcase and looks set to be an instant chart hit.
Bodies, the first single from upcoming album Reality Killed The Video Star, will receive its chart release next month and sees Robbie return to his pop roots.
Veteran music producer Trevor Horn (responsible for production on Pet Shop Boys and Simple Minds albums) has lent his expertise to the new sound which reportedly has more than a hint of Robbie’s northern roots, with a notable influence from Ian Brown.
The pop track features Robbie’s usual rhyming lyrics and a religious twist, showcasing Robbie’s more contemplative side, when the singer belts out: ‘Jesus really died to me. Jesus tried for me.’
The promotional pictures to accompany Bodies also show how Robbie’s taking his comeback seriously, working hard to get his body back in shape, shedding a couple of stone to return to his trimmer form.
And with Radio 1 already pushing the track, six weeks ahead of its release and Radio 2 planning to make it single and record of the week, it seems the bad boy of pop is back, back, back!

Well, the RW album cover looks a bit plain for a Superstar! Just think of the King of Pop's (Michael Jackson) album covers...now HE made an effort over the years! Robbie's new cover is not striking, just plain. Atleast he's lost weight and had a hair cut! Although, he is really looking old now...the years are taking its toll....I know he's only 35 but his years of taking drugs, drinking and smoking has started to affect his looks! Just wait till Cherly Cole gets old...her good looks may fade...as she's a smoker! (yuk) Not sure if I like RW's new single...maybe it's a grower. Robbie seems like a nice guy...came across very well in his interview with Chris Moyles this morning! Although, it seemed as if Robbie was interviewing Chris Moyles instead of it being the other way round-lol!!!!! Wow, only Robbie can get aawy with that...put Moyles right into his place. Normally, Moyles intimidates his guests....but no chance with Rob....Chris didn't even ask the major questions ( I believe)...like comeback tour &RW's thoughts about the late Michael Jackson...as Robbie apparenly changed some lyrics on his new album in honour of the King of Pop! Anyway, glad the Robster is back.....someone I would love to meet....I would be very starstruck but he seems such a funny/nice guy! Good Luck Robbie!!!! ( if you read this)
