Lady GaGa's finally explains THAT frog outfit

Lady GaGa has finally decided to explain the strange Kermit frog outfit she wore last month during a German TV interview.

Designed by Jean Charles de Castlebajac, the Kermit cape caused something of a fashion frenzy when GaGa first wore it, but apparently there was reason behind the random.

'I really loved this one… because I thought it was commentary on not wearing fur, 'cause I hate fur and I don't wear fur,' the singer told Ryan Seacrest.

Um, ok, then.

PeTA is already hoping to cash in on the lady-of-the-moment's penchant for fake, albeit froggy, fur, and has asked her to pose in the buff for its next ad campaign.
