Tyra Banks hits Gossip Girl set

Tyra Banks has had her close-up on the set of Gossip Girl after the model turned out for her one-off performance in America’s most stylish show.

Playing a larger-than-life actress, Banks is controlled by Blake Lively (aka Serena) when her character Ursula Nyquist graces the red carpet for her latest movie premiere.

To match Tyra’s big personality character, the top model revealed a head-turning look for her part in the show, hitting the Gossip Girl set looking her usually fierce self with a honey-highlighted coiffeured updo, smokey midnight blue eyes, a raspberry pout and huge statement earrings.

The Top Model host isn’t the only star to sign on to our favourite sartorial sitcom. Hilary Duff will also appear in a multi-episode story, again playing a movie star who studies at New York University and is roomies with our favourite Gossip Girl of the moment, Jessica Szohr.
