Peter and Katie split over Duncan James incident

Peter Andre instigated his divorce from Katie Price, after discovering that she'd drunkenly propositioned Blue singer Duncan James, new reports suggest.

The Aussie singer was left devastated when friends revealed the truth behind his wife's drunken behaviour, including an incident in which she'd offered to perform a sex act on the boy band star in a nightclub toilet.

A source revealed to The Mirror: 'Katie was hammered… she was in the VIP section drinking heavily when she bumped into Duncan. She virtually launched herself at him, grinding and grabbing his crotch.

'Duncan was flirting back in a pretty innocuous way and kept reminding her she was a married woman. But Katie was having none of it... she made some comment about not getting enough sex and basically suggested she took him into the toilets for a sexual treat he'd never forget. (Duncan) reminded her again that she was married and declined her offer.

'Next day Katie was desperate to bury her actions and adamant that Pete must never find out. But eventually word got back and not surprisingly he felt humiliated and appalled. It broke him in two.'

Reportedly the sordid stories were the final straw for Pete, and he vowed to end his marriage, telling friends, 'All trust has gone – there's no going back.'

The incident allegedly took place almost two years ago. With Price having given birth to her daughter Princess just five weeks before, Andre was reportedly at home babysitting while his wife hit the town.

The couple announced their divorce in May this year, and Andre was quick to cite Price's drinking as a factor.

'I'm not jealous of anybody until Katie's drunk,' he told The Sun. 'If she's been drinking I know she's capable of anything. The devil gets inside her and she's a nightmare.'

Those poor kids!
I expect they will see a succession of men tripping in and out of mums' bedroom. Drunk or sober - she can't help it.
Perhaps the services of a good psych-iatrist/ologist would be money well spent for her.

I think katie price is acting a disgrace. She is a grown woman with children if that was my mum i would b well embarressed. Lets just hope her kids never get to see what a disgrace their mother has been.

I tend not to try and judge but all that keeps rocking up in my mind is where's you're self respect woman? She knows she is a pap's dream if she wont's to shag that hubby out of her hair don't do it so publicly there can be a lot of benefits for discretion; for once Jordan/Pricey ain't used the media to her advantage and she has proved she is just a common old hoe!

It is very wrong of Ms. Katie Price to behave in this fashion. We live in the twenty first century and everything is recorded for posterity. Is she that naive to think that her children wouldn't see and hear all her sordid antics.

She needs serious help

Katy has behaved foolishly. She probably realises it herself but feels powerless to stop this downwood spiral. Despite her success and pretty face, she acts like a woman without self esteem or pride.

Whilst I also have sympathy for Peter Andre, I think his harsh judgements of her behaviour since the split, given that he left her, are sanctimonious and unhelpful. It's really not his business how she behaves now unless it affects their children.

Nevertheless, both of them will be laughing all the way to the bank with photo shoots and interviews about "devastation and hurt feelings" to follow.

OMG what else is going to be said if u belive in everything that the papers say well it goes to show what a sad world we live in . In the tv seris with katie and peter the two of them even admited dont belive what the papers say goodness sake it over now with this pair let them get on with there lives .But i suppose there will be a lot more ppl saying kate was with them all i can say LEAVE well alone they have kids and she is a good mother just as he is a good father so now is the time for the papers to find another target to get it takes two to tango in a marriage so how come they make pete the saint they are not saying what he has been up too he could not even say in his interview with the news of the world why they split yet he says he can prove it well i never read anything about proving it so pls let them get on with it

If the great british public were not obsessed with the lives of these people the magazines would not pay them so much money and they would have to work like the rest of us. It's time they started to set a good example to the youngsters who see them as an icon

She was a disgrace as a wife and she's little better as a mother. She didn't deserve the very good husband that she had. Glad he dumped her - not a moment too soon.

Why get his wife pregnant then before the split? if he was so unhappy in his marriage. This guy is playing the media, at least what you see is what you get with katie, but he is False on Toast. This man is looking out for his own music career more than his kids, he just likes to play the good guy in front of the paps, I spot a fake when i see one.

Katie is an alcoholic. Whenever she drinks, she's out of control. She is now in such a downward spiral, it's hard to watch. Peter must stay strong for the children. Katie could be the next Ana Nicole!

What can I say, this incident with Duncan James reportedly happened almost 2 years ago..and this is the reason he 'Pete' now says why he left Katie. What rubbish! He'll grab at anything to condone dumping his family; instead of 'as it looks to me' for the real reason to dump Katie just as his Album was going to be due out. If he is now hurting because he sees another man with his kids, tough!! He shouldn't expect her to become a nun. Alex might only be a stop gap for now but...Have fun Katie, you're only young once.

So Peter dumped katie, why then do i see his miserable face on every magazine, saying feel sorry for me. he was the one that ended it, and she is sticking two fingers up at him ,probably not the best way to act when you have kids, but she is a young woman when all said and done.
