Peter Andre wants a quick divorce

Peter Andre has reacted to pictures of Katie Price holidaying with her new lover by saying he is pushing for a ‘quickie’ divorce.

According to reports in The Sun newspaper today, the photos of Jordan draped over new love Alex Reid at her holiday pad in Marbella have incensed Andre and prompted him to demand a speedy divorce settlement.

Yesterday pictures surfaced of the glamour model lazing poolside with cage fighter beau Reid. Price appeared virtually nude as she bathed in nothing but a pair of string bikini bottoms.

Andre has lashed out at his estranged wife’s latest overt public display saying: ‘Does she have to flaunt her new relationship in their [the children’s] faces, when they are still so, so young and don't understand what's going on?’

The Aussie singer revealed to the tabloid that he is gunning for a divorce ‘sooner rather than later’.

With an array of lewd holiday snaps to choose from, Andre could use any against his wife in court, jeopardising Price’s chances of gaining child custody.

What is likely to weaken Katie’s case even more is the suspicion that she and lover Reid have been in contact and texting one another for over a year.

Meanwhile, Peter played the good father card again this week when he was spotted taking the pair’s children fruit picking in West Sussex.

A spokesman for Andre commented last night: ‘Peter would like to see Jordan acting sensibly and not being pictured like this. Peter would never let that happen.’

Jordan is truly awful and no sort of mother to arrange set photographs of herself naked with a manky low-life on the front of the tabloids! Hope Pete gets full custody of his children. He should also take the half of the money earned during the marriage that he's entitled to - stop her squandering it on plastic surgery and low-life wasters.

I had a lot of sympathy with Pete to start with. But Katie is obviously a woman in a lot of pain. Don't we all behave in ways that we wish we hadn't later when something knocks us really hard. I think Pete is now really milking this hollier than thou piece. Both of them were to blame for the break up of the marriage, watching their show neither of them spoke to each other with any respect and he needs to take some of the responsibility. I think all this public critasism of Katie makes him look quite petty and bitter. Surely all his comments about how badly she behaves are also things that their children should not have to see. They are both media junkies, only Katie is more honest about it and Pete likes to cast himself as perfect.

I think I was watching a different show then Fi because she was ALWAYS putting him down and insulting him he only retaliated. I used to like Katie and really admired her but her antics since they split have altered my opinion completely. She's acting like a cheap, common tart and should be putting her children first for a change and not herself. She is taking selfish to the extreme. I wish Pete well for the future and hope Katie aka Jordan comes to her senses and starts acting like a mother of 3 and not a monster of 3.

Fi, although I agree with you to a point, the difference is that both courted publicity and now have to deal with things as they are. They are both aware of what the tabloids are capable of and for Jordan to revert to type shows a complete lack of concern for her children. She is entitled to deal with the hurt as she chooses, but I'm sure this could be done behind closed doors and not paraded for all to see. I don't see Peter as trying to be 'holier than thou' he is also hurting, just dealing with things in a different manner. It also strikes me that Jordan is being incredibly arrogant and assumes that she will gain custody of the children anyway - something that is not cut and dried as her PR people (if she has any left) should be making her aware of.

I think KP (aka Jordan) has got some real problems. I think pete is much better than that plonker she has been seen with and really i think she knows she has lost a great man and father. She seems to be clutching at straws or (men) !! She certainly is not putting her self in good stead for a custody battle. Because if i was a judge it is plain to see who the better parent is...Pete I have met you in Australia and what a gentleman. You deserve the best and you should thank yourself lucky you got out when you did xxx

doesn't she think of the photgraphic legacy she leaving for her children? ok she's not very old but she's in her thirties so she is no teenager. yes she should have fun but let it be halfway decent. why have kids if you're not ready to settle down? her husband would do well to get this divorce asap...

Pete should have the children even harvey because i think he will care for them better because katie is off on hols with alex and is leaving them with pete n she should look after her children nt go into a relationship with someone else if the children dont even kno her n pete aint together anymore its no fair i used to be a fan of her but not anymore i support pete n i think he should have the children n i think it would help him get over the spilt quicker!!!

i think it is really sad that you cant work it out pete i can understand how katie feels your manager always there and would you really be were you are now without being with kate you should think about that
