Sophie Ellis-Bextor goes glam at the races

Sophie Ellis-Bextor managed to steal the show at the Goodwood races in Sussex yesterday.

The singer was on top form in her vintage, billow-sleeved cream dress as she giggled and smooched the afternoon away with her hubby Richard Young.

She added a trendy touch to her gorgeous frock by toting a so-now chain-handle bag.

And she wasn't the only star who dressed up for the upmarket occasion.

Jodie Kidd donned a pill-box style hat with a pink corsage, which she teamed with a raisin-coloured knee-length dress.

A host of women glammed up in an array of supersized hats to steal the Most Striking crown.

Other celebrities to attend were Rowan Atkinson and his wife, and Otis Ferry.
