Revealed: Identity of woman carrying Jude's lovechild

The mother of Jude Law's fourth child has been revealed as little-known model and actress Samantha Burke.

According to TMZ, her lawyers have confirmed the actor is the father of her unborn child, which is due on 6 October.

The website also claims that the pretty brunette is expecting a girl, who she will call Sophia.

A statement from her lawyers reads: 'Ms Burke can confirm that she did in fact have a relationship with Mr Law and that she has informed Mr Law that she is expecting his child later this Fall.

'Since informing Mr Law of the pregnancy, he has been nothing but responsive and supportive of Ms Burke.'

Jude, who is currently single, met Samantha in New York while he was filming scenes for Sherlock Holmes.

The star has three children with former wife Sadie Frost: Rafferty, 12, Iris, eight, and Rudy, six.

A family friend said: 'It was a surprise. I think Jude has already discussed and agreed child support probably running into tens of thousands of pounds.

'He has made it clear he wants to play a role in the child’s life even though he is no longer with the mother and wants to be supportive.

‘He also assured Sadie the baby will not affect his relationship with their children.’

What a strange comment from Denise..surely his parents would be supportive of him. It will be their grandchild! Not all people care about what neighbors will think anymore. It's not like he's married.
