As a new mum to month-old baby twins, you could forgive Sarah Jessica Parker for not looking her best, but the actress was looking as fabulous as ever, as she made her first public appearance since the arrival of little Tabitha and Marion.

Enjoying a date night with husband Matthew Broderick, the new parents escaped New York for the Hamptons, where they attended an AIDS fundraiser hosted by Calvin Klein and Vanity Fair.

In a look that would have made Carrie Bradshaw proud, SJP stepped out in a chartreuse zip-front minidress, accessorised with long gold chains, chunky bejewelled bangles, an embroidered clutch and studded sandals.

Her signature curly mane was looking darker than usual and her radiant complexion didn't betray a hint of late nights or new parent fatigue. 

The couple welcomed Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge on 22 June. The babies were born via a surrogate.

They have rarely been spotted since the twin's arrival, but introduced the world to their babies with the release of a super cute picture of the happy family.
