How to get into ...

David Beckham didn't exactly get a warm welcome in LA this weekend, when he returned to play for his home team, LA Galaxy, after a prolonged loan to AC Milan.

In fact, from the jeers and boos, you'd be forgiven for thinking the crowd didn't want Becks back at all.

Thankfully, with an A-list array of friends and family in the VIP box, David still had plenty of fans on side. Along with wife Victoria and good friend Tom Cruise, other stars in the box included Gary Barlow, Kate Beckinsale and David Walliams.

Despite this, things almost turned nasty when Beckham made his way over to a section of the crowd, dubbed the LA Riot Squad section, and almost got into an altercation with an angry fan who left his seat and started running towards Beckham.

Security intervened and sent Becks to his dressing room and the fan towards the exit sign.

'It's to be expected. Sometimes it goes beyond it,' Beckham said of the booing afterwards. 'I tried to shake one of the guy's hands but he didn't want any of it. That's the way it is.'

However, another spectator disputed Becks' take on events, saying: 'We were a little upset. He betrayed our team but don't come calling out one of our fans, that doesn't happen.

'I don't think he wants to be here, I think he should go.'

He should have stayed in england playing football, but the L.A. dream is over they make friends then get fed up with them and are always looking for something else.

Is he a celebrity or a footballer? No wonder the footy fans were upset they want a commited and professional footballer for their team! Not someone who wants to be seen socialising with hollywood royalty, he can do that once he is retired.
