From Harry Potter to hell raiser: Emma Watson is set to swap magic for Marilyn Manson as she signs up to star in his new musical.

The Dark Lord (that's Manson not Voldemort), is planning to produce a goth-inspired version of Cinderella  - and has reportedly asked Emma to play a princess.

Emma is the only Potter star who has not so far appeared in another movie outside the wizard franchise.

And her decision to star in Manson's musical proves she's thinking outside the acting box.

Meanwhile, Emma's been wowing in a series of scene-stealing outfits recently while promoting the sixth Hogwarts-based movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.    

Maybe that's what caught Marilyn's eye!
