We thought it was a bit strange when Katie Price said she hoped Peter Andre and Chantelle were happy.

And the model was back to her straight-talking tones yesterday when a 45-mintue tell-all interview with Piers Morgan reportedly turned into a two-hour tirade.

Katie – aka Jordan – reportedly had less kind words for Pete’s new friend, Chantelle Houghton, branding her ‘an ugly version of me’.

And sources say she blames Peter for the split during the interview, saying: ‘It was all down to Pete, he wanted this, not me. He's not as innocent as he's been making out.’

In the interview, set to air on ITV1 tomorrow night, Katie lifts the lid on her split with Pete, adding: 'It's about time I put my point across. There will be some home truths, Pete is not as innocent as he's making out.'

The star also denied having a sexual relationship with model Anthony Lowther, with whom she famously partied with for a week in Ibiza.

Meanwhile, Peter has reportedly launched a legal bid to gain regular access to the former couple’s children until their divorce is finalised.

The singer is said to be upset at the amount of time children Junior, four, Princess Tiiaamii, two, and Katie's disabled son Harvey, seven, have spent in the care of a nanny rather than with him.

According to The Sun, the singer spent much of yesterday with lawyers discussing ways to get childcare arrangements set in place until the divorce comes through.

Katie currently decides when the children can see Peter.

One source said: ‘The only thing Peter cares about is his children. He doesn't want any money from Kate, she can keep the house.

‘He just wants as much access to his children as he can. He knows that his kids need to be with their parents.’

I used to really like Jordan, but THAT reality show has only shown people what an ugly person she is, in all ways.

She was lucky to have Peter- I'm surprised he stayed around as long as he did! She needs to grow up - Anger and bitterness only creates the ugly lines that she spends so much money on removing!!

I used to like her a lot before but using the kids to get back at her ex?! Come on! She needs to at least try to act like a mature adult and mom and show how much she really LOVES her kids by letting them see their dad! What she is doing is treating her kids like objects! I'm with Pete on this one. I hope he gets custody. She just parades them like accessories and it is disgusting!

It didn't take long for the true colours of Jordan to show!!! I'm glad Pete is rid of her, she's no beauty, so who is she kidding, branding another woman "an ugly version of me!!!" Hold your head high Pete, you are so free of this menace, I still remember the fights between Jordan and Jodie March, all that drinking she did whilst pregnant, when Jodie used to tell her to go home - even her own mother then didn't know about her pregnancy. Any wonder poor Harvey is so disabled! Men will steer clear of Jordan is they have any sense, she's got too much baggage. She has lost a good man.

why does everyone dis katie what was pete before he met katie. I bet he is not as innocent as he makes out to be, katie was a great mother before she married pete no all of a sudden she is the bitch from hell and he is mr innocent don't think so takes two and he brings her down as well i think she will be better of without him she was his ticket to stardom

in answer to above comment how do u know that drink did that to poor harvey u should get ur facts right before u critise about harverys disablity and its not by drinking. Katie would never harm any of her kids, oh here we go again hold ur head up high, pete did pete say anything when they went out when katie was pregnant with her other kids - no, and i hope katie get someone who wants her for herself and not for to be used to make a comeback!!!!!!!

Peter should count his blessings he is out of that awful relationship. I feel so sorry that those poor kids still have contact with her. She needs help.

Anything out of her mouth is vile. She hasn't a good word to say about anyone even when she was with Peter. "An ugly version of me" who does she think she is? she has such an opinion of herself!!
