Katie Price: 'I hope Pete and Chantelle are happy'

Katie Price has said congratulations to Peter Andre and Chantelle Houghton on their reported budding romance.

The model has offered her congratulations upon hearing he may be striking up a romance with former Big Brother star Chantelle Houghton.

Although Peter has denied there’s anything more than friendship – and sharing the same manager – Katie still decided to respond to the rumours, saying: ‘I've got some news for you - I've been told by more than one person that Chantelle Houghton has been seen going into Pete's house on more than one occasion.

‘It seems like her and Peter could be in a relationship and if they are, I'm really pleased for them - I think she's a good-looking girl, she seems nice and I hope they're happy, just as long as he's with someone who is nice to our kids.'

She added: 'I've had a cross tattooed over the tattoo I got of his name.

'I won't get his name removed because he was part of my life but I just want to get on with the divorce now.'

Meanwhile, Peter yesterday insisted on Twitter that there was ‘1000 million per cent’ nothing going on between him and the blonde star.

On Sunday, Chantelle – who was once married to Ordinary Boys star Preston -  dropped in to Peter's new Brighton pad to help celebrate his daughter Princess's second birthday.

The pair were both at the Silver Clef awards in London on Friday and the previous night she had joined him at Movida nightclub to celebrate his new reputed £1 million recording contract.
