Lindsay Lohan is in hot water again after being rapped with a lawsuit for stealing the formula for her fake tan range, Sevin Nyne.

The ailing starlet is being sued by American chemist, Jennifer Sunday, who claims Li-Lo and her Las Vegas business partner, Lorit Simon, copied the formula for her own brand of self-tan.

Lohan and Lorit claim they perfected the blueprint for their tan enhancer three years ago, however Sunday’s attorney says her fake tan recipe was only created recently.

An unusual combination of goji berries, caramel, Chardonnay extracts, and a sugar-coconut base makes the concoction one of its kind.

American newspaper, the St. Petersburg Times, reports that the chemist is suing Lohan and her business partner for breach of contract, theft of trade secrets, civil conspiracy, intentional interference with contractual relations and deceptive and unfair trade practices.

At the beginning of the year, Sunday’s company White Wave International Labs, signed a confidentiality agreement with Lohan’s business partner, Simon. While the two sides were in negotiations to produce the fake-tan, no price had been agreed.

‘The next thing we know, Lorit Simon and Lindsay Lohan are partnering and Ms. Lohan is taking credit for developing this formula, which she indeed had no role in,’ Sunday’s lawyer told the St. Petersburg Times.

Now the chemist is seeking compensation for Sevin Nyne’s profits.

‘We are certainly looking for the profits that are being generated right now from that product. If Ms. Lohan and Ms. Simon and their companies and their shareholders are profiting from the theft of my client's formula and are profiting from that product, my client is entitled to those proceeds.’
