Cheryl Cole celebrated her 26th birthday last night, and ensured all eyes were on her, as she stepped out in a traffic-stopping minidress.

Arriving at the Vanilla Club alongside husband Ashley, where she was joined by family and A-list mates alike, the Girls Aloud beauty ensured she was the centre of attention, in a flesh-flashing Alexander McQueen number that left very little to the imagination.

Thigh-skimming, with nothing but a smattering of fringing for a skirt, the teeny tiny frock covered less than it revealed, with a completely sheer front panel, which showed of Mrs C's ample cleavage and toned tum.

As for that famous mane, and she styled her locks into a long slicked back ponytail and topped off her look with smouldering smoky eye make-up and a bronzed complexion.

The star-studded soiree saw Girls Aloud bandmates Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh out to celebrate, with Walsh looking fashion-forward in an on-trend fuchsia playsuit, and Roberts sweet and chic in a mint green shift.

There was also a considerable X Factor contingency, including fellow judges Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh, plus Holly Willoughby and Cheryl's 2008 protégées, Alexandra Burke and Diana Vickers.

Oh, no! Cheryl, what have you done? Just when we thought you couldn't put a fashion foot wrong, you go back to your WAG wardrobe with this flesh-flashing number. Just because it's Alexander McQueen, doesn't excuse all that tummy on display!

I thought Cheryl was trying to become an A lister - so she stopped poor Ashley going to his mate's wedding, and then she goes out looking like she's gone for a Playboy shoot!!! What is wrong with this woman?? OK - we know you're skeletal and you have a flat tummy, but PLEEEAAAASSSSEEEE stop showing off - you know the army of silly young girls will try to imitate you - and for a woman of 26 to go out looking like this is nonsense - grow up - I don't like X-Factor, I don't rate you or Simon, I like Danii - at least she's a proper woman, but come on, your judgement on X-Factor, who cares??? Who are you?? Just a girl from the north who got lucky.
