Keira Knightley has proved that not only is she one of the world's most sought-after actresses, she's a big-hearted girlfriend, too.

The Brit hit – who made £16 million in 2008 – has added some serious star status to her very lucky boyfriend's debut movie.

Rupert Friend's The Continuing And Lamentable Saga Of The Suicide Brothers sees two siblings named Bourbon and Barath (Friend and his pal Tom Mison) go out to the shed to kill themselves everyday at 2pm.

 

Each day they are baffled to find their efforts fail, overlooking the presence of their fairy godmother.

Cue Keira. The Atonement star undergoes a large transformation for the part, sporting ghostly pale-powdered skin and a huge, white backcombed wig.

Keira yesterday supported her boyfriend of four years, Rupert, at the film's screening in London.

 

And, as usual, she looked gorgeous in a flowing, floral, silk maxidress.

That's one good Friend you've got there, Rupert!
