Sarah Jessica Parker - Celebrity News - Marie Claire

The surrogate who is carrying Sarah Jessica Parker's twin daughters has been the victim of a robbery – by two policemen.

Two Ohio officers are being investigated after a suspected burglary aimed at stealing photos and information about the surrogate to sell to tabloids.

The alleged robbery by Police Chief Barry Carpenter and Bridgeport Police Chief Chad DoJack apparently happened in mid-May.

A law enforcement official said the target items were 'pictures, phone messages, all those things' at the home of the surrogate, Michelle Ross.

Sarah and her hubby Matthew Broderick have not commented on the alleged burglary, but their publicist Simon Halls said: 'Matthew and Sarah Jessica have complete faith in the legal system.

'But because it's a criminal investigation, we will not be making any more comment.

'What I can say is the entire family looks forward to the healthy delivery of their daughters later on this summer.'

It is thought Michelle is due to give birth to the twin girls in July.

Its awful to hear that police officers, who are there to uphold the law, can sink so low as to become the very people they are suppose to protect the public from! what happened to "protect and serve"? I hope these guys get jail time!
