Singing sensation Susan Boyle is reportedly set to perform to her legion of U.S. fans by taking to the stage on America’s Got Talent.

After becoming an overnight success story on the British version of the talent show and garnering followers from across the globe when the video of her first audition became a YouTube hit, the Scottish warbler has now been invited to sing across the pond.

Talent show judge Piers Morgan, who sits on the panel for both versions of the show, has confirmed his wish for Boyle, a.k.a Su-Bo, to dazzle American supporters with her vocal talent.

‘If she’s up for it and she is well enough, our feeling is she probably will [appear on AGT]. Absolutely!

‘Susan singing live to 25 million Americans? That would be great!’

The ex-newspaper editor was alluding to Boyle’s brief stint in psychiatric hospital The Priory, following a breakdown at the end of the singing competition.

The 48-year-old checked out of the private clinic in time to join the national Britain’s Got Talent road show currently touring the country. However, the singer dropped out of the Manchester leg of the gig last weekend, prompting speculation she is still struggling to cope with the sudden pressure.

Thanks for a great article and yes (!!) we in America will be thrilled if we are fortunate enough to have SuBo visit us here, and will give her a WARM welcome!! However, SuBo did not have a "breakdown." She took a few days to rest and get away from the relentless press which was mercilessly trying to trash her, and then came out sporting a new hairdo and big smile... and went shopping! :)

If Susan's on AGT, I'll watch that episode, but ONLY that episode.
After watching one sweet little lady get destroyed by the press, I'll never watch another talent show.
I'll never be able to understand why they did that. If anything, I bet they've lost a lot or readers over it.
