PICS: Hilarious world premiere of Brüno

Just when you think Sacha Baron-Cohen can't get any sillier – he goes and dresses up in glittery, bum-baring lederhosen for the premiere of his latest movie, Brüno.

The film follows Brüno, a gay Austrian TV presenter who is sacked from his beloved fashion show on Austrian TV for bringing a Milan catwalk show to a standstill with his all-in-one Velcro outfit.

By all accounts, the hilarious new movie is full of cringe-inducing moments, not least a sex scene with his pygmy boyfriend, who dumps him when he loses his TV show.

The flick also contains sinking-into-your-seat interviews – just like Borat – with stars like Paula Abdul and LaToya Jackson.

There are also plenty of references to his 'kugelsack' – another word for his lunchbox – which he so tastefully dangled in Eminem's face in his amusing stunt at the MTV Movie Awards.

With Sacha's wedge-lederhosen, studded cuff, and sequined yellow panama hat, it was left to girlfriend Isla Fisher to take fashion a bit more seriously, and the actress looked divine in a printed sea-green chiffon gown, which she teamed with Sergio Rossi heels and clutch.

Wonder what Brüno would have to say about that?
