Susan Boyle has checked out of The Priory rehab clinic after recovering from her meltdown, despite reports she could remain in care for weeks.

The Scottish singer was admitted to rehab after suffering an emotional breakdown on Sunday night following her loss on the final of Britain’s Got Talent.

Family members claimed the rising star had been consumed with concerns about her career, and racked with the feeling she had let people down.

Reports suggest Susan, dubbed the Hairy Angel by the media, has spoken to Simon about recording a debut album, and he has told her to rest.

A TV source told the Daily Mail: ‘She is feeling a lot better and she is now somewhere quiet getting some much needed rest. She is excited about her plans.’

It is understood Susan is being looked after by family and friends.

I truly hope Susan gets better and that her career zooms ahead. She is a sweet, unassuming person, witha lovely voice. What is it about the media that causes them to try to demean talented people? Success is something they seem to hate, probably because they are totally without talent themselves.
